1. Introduction

Welcome to the privacy policy for ThinkTeams, GoGoBee, BeePot, and Touchwood (collectively referred to as "the Apps", "we", "us", or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal and device data. This privacy policy informs you how we access, collect, use, and look after your data when you install and use any of our applications, and tells you about your privacy rights.

2. Third-Party Service Providers and Data Access

The Apps utilize third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) and services that automatically access and collect information used to identify your device. Below are the links to the privacy policies of the providers we use to manage and deliver our services:

  • Firebase (Google): Used for database management, user authentication, and crash reporting. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Analytics: Used to track user engagement, app flow, and interactions. Google Privacy Policy
  • AdMob (Google): Used to display advertisements. AdMob accesses your device's advertising identifier to serve relevant ads. Google Advertising Policy

3. Data We Access and Collect

We and our third-party service providers may access, collect, use, store, and transfer different kinds of personal and device data, which we have categorized below:

  • Location Data: Depending on your device permissions, we collect Precise Location Data (GPS coordinates) and/or Approximate Location Data (network-based location).
    • How it is used: This data is accessed while the Apps are in active use in the foreground. It allows you locate your current location, search for nearby places and drop pins on maps.
    • Retention & Sharing: We do not track or collect your location data in the background when the apps are closed. When you voluntarily submit a location within a group session, that specific location data is shared directly with the other members of that active group. We do not sell your location data.
  • Identity & Contact Data: Name, username, email address, and telephone numbers (accessed only when provided voluntarily during registration or account creation).
  • Device Identifiers: Android Advertising ID (AAID), Firebase installation IDs, and unique device tokens used for push notifications and ad delivery.
  • Technical & Network Data: Internet Protocol (IP) address, network carrier details, login status, device make and model, operating system version, time zone settings, and device performance metrics.
  • Usage & Interaction Data: Information about how you interact with the Apps, including app launches, page views, click streams, button taps, and features used.
  • User-Generated Content: Votes, suggested locations, and group activity inputs submitted voluntarily during group sessions.

4. Purpose of Data Collection and Processing

We process and access your data under legal grounds and for explicit, disclosed purposes:

  • App Functionality: To register you as a new user, authenticate your identity, and facilitate core interactive features (such as sharing votes and location suggestions with members of your specific group activity).
  • Analytics and Diagnostics: To monitor app stability, detect bugs, log crashes, and analyze user flows via Google Analytics and Firebase to continuously improve performance.
  • Advertising (AdMob): To serve advertisements within the app. AdMob utilizes your device's Advertising ID to serve personalized or contextual ads and prevent fraudulent ad interactions.
  • Relationship Management: To notify you about critical app updates, security alerts, or changes to our terms and policies.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. However, your data is shared in the following specific contexts:

  • In-App Group Features: By participating in interactive or group activities within the Apps, your specific votes, suggested locations, and related group inputs are explicitly shared with the other members of that designated group.
  • Service Providers: We share device identifiers, technical data, and usage data with trusted third-party vendors (Google Firebase, Analytics, and AdMob) to host our backend, analyze app health, and serve ads.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your data if required to do so by law, regulation, or in response to valid requests by public authorities or law enforcement.

6. International Data Transfers

Because we utilize global cloud infrastructure and third-party services like Google, your information may be transferred to—and maintained on—computers and servers located outside of your state, province, or country, where data protection laws may differ. By using our Apps, you consent to these transfers.

7. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, altered, disclosed, or accessed in an unauthorized way. We limit access to your personal data to those employees, contractors, and partners who have a legitimate business need to know.

8. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for.
